8 teams are now still standing. 4 teams left in the Eastern Conference. It is now time for the second round of the NBA Playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brooklyn Nets are the remaining teams. Who will move on to the conference finals?
No. 1 Philadelphia 76ers vs No. 5 Atlanta Hawks
Game 1 has already happened. The Hawks got the upset on the Sixers' home court. Can this continue for the rest of the season? I don't think so. I think the Hawks present an interesting challenge for Philadelphia, but I think the Sixers will adjust and win the rest of the series. Trae Young will still have a great series, but Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid will take over.
Prediction: 76ers in 6
No. 2 Brooklyn Nets vs No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks
Game 1 has already happened. The Brooklyn Nets got the win. The interesting thing is that James Harden did not play for 99% of the game. Harden is also out for game 2. The Nets have proved that they could win without Harden, which I think will ultimately win them the series. Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday will do great for the Bucks, but I think the Nets are just too good of a team to defeat in the second round.
Predictions: Nets in 6
