The 2021 NBA Finals are finally here. 2 teams left in the playoffs. The Milwaukee Bucks vs the Phoenix Suns. After a difficult season, who will be the 2021 NBA Champions?
No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks vs No. 2 Phoenix Suns
Two great teams square off in the final round of this years' playoffs. The big question of the series is will Giannis Antetokounmpo, former 2 time MVP, be able to play in this series. The Bucks star suffered a gruesome leg injury in game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. As of right now, he is listed as "doubtful" for game 1. Even without their best player, the Bucks won their last 2 games against the Atlanta Hawks to get at this final stage. While that does sound intriguing for Bucks fans, the Suns are a way better team than the Hawks. Phoenix's big 3 of Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton has shown major problems for some of the best teams in the West. Milwaukee does match up well defensively against the amazing offensive trio, but a big problem for the Bucks stands out. The Bucks struggle in the coaching department, whereas Phoenix excels there. Monty Williams has shown to be a better coach than Mike Budenholzer and that's a big advantage. This will be a close series if Giannis plays, but coaching and decision making is where I think Phoenix will get the upper-hand. Whether Giannis plays or not, I predict the Phoenix Suns will be the 2021 NBA Champions.
Predictions: Suns in 6 (Chris Paul wins Finals MVP)
