Israel Adesanya vs Jan Blachowicz is one of the biggest fights of the year and also one of the most interesting. Speed and skill vs pure power. This fight is for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title, which is currently held by Blachowicz. Adesanya, the UFC Middleweight Champion, could make history tomorrow night as the 5th UFC fighter ever to hold 2 belts in different divisions at the same time, if he were to come out the victor. This fight is very hard to predict, let's see why.

"The Last Stylebender" Israel Adesanya

The current UFC Middleweight Champion has taken the MMA world by storm. He has an undefeated record of 20-0 with 9 wins in the UFC. Adesanya's resume is some of the best ever as he has beaten Anderson Silva, Kelvin Gastelum, Robert Whittaker, Yoel Romero, and Paulo Costa in his last 5 fights. His big strength is elite striking as he has deadly leg kicks and is a great counterpuncher. Will he be able to showcase that elite striking once again against Blachowicz or will Jan's power be too much?

Jan "The Polish Hammer" Blachowicz

The current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is on fire, yet he is very overlooked in this fight. Jan has had a record of 27-8 with 4 wins in his last 5 fights. He is known as the "Polish Hammer" and for good reason because he is one of the most powerful men in the business. Jan has knocked out Luke Rockhold (former Middleweight champ), Corey Anderson, and Dominik Reyes. His last fight with Reyes was his crowning as champion as he dominated who a lot of people see as the one that actually beat Jon Jones. Can he use his insane power and shock the world?

Keys for Israel

- Keep the fight at distance.

- Use your leg kicks to make this fight easier.

Keys for Jan

- Attack the body.

- Don't "headhunt". Don't try and take his head off because Adesanya can counter it and finish you like he did to Costa, so be patient.

Big Questions

Will Jan hit the big shot? How will Israel react to Jan's power? Can Jan shock the world or will Adesanya make history?

Final Predictions

This fight could truly go either way. My final prediction is for Israel Adesanya to finish Jan Blachowicz in the 4th round and make history. This fight could be really close, but we could see a Blachowicz knockout win or an Adesanya striking clinic. I also have Yan and Nunes in the other two title fights. UFC 259 is one of the best cards in years and it should definitely live up to the hype with 3 big title fights.
