March Madness Predictions, upsets, and more

The big tournament is back. March Madness is here. After the pandemic forced the NCAA to cancel the tournament in 2020, all basketball fans have been waiting for this moment. Arguably the most fun sports event in the calendar year. Every year, everyone makes their predictions bracket. I have made multiple, but lets talk about some of my overall predictions.

Round of 64 Upsets

In the round of 64, I have multiple upsets as you all should have as well. I have UCSB over Creighton, St. Bonaventure over LSU, Georgetown over Colorado, MSU/UCLA over BYU, and Colgate over Arkansas. It is very common to predict upsets.

Round of 32 Predictions

In the round of 32, I predict Gonzaga over Oklahoma, Virginia over UCSB, USC over Kansas, Oregon over Iowa, St. Bonaventure over Michigan, Florida State over Georgetown, Texas over MSU/UCLA, UConn over Alabama, Baylor over UNC, Villanova over Purdue, Texas Tech over Colgate, Ohio State over Florida, Illinois over Loyola Chicago, OK State over Tennessee, SD State over West Virginia, and Houston over Clemson.

Sweet Sixteen Predictions

For the Sweet 16, I predict Gonzaga over Virginia, Oregon over USC, Florida State over St. Bonaventure, UConn over Texas, Baylor over Villanova, Ohio State, Illinois over OK State, and SD State over Houston.

Elite 8 Predictions

For the Elite 8, I have the craziest prediction of my bracket. I predict Oregon over Gonzaga. Don’t ask me why. Anything can happen in March Madness. Other predictions are Florida State over UConn, Baylor over Ohio State, and Illinois over SD State.

Final 4 Predictions

My final 4 is 7 Oregon, 4 Florida State, 1 Baylor, and 1 Illinois. Florida State beats Oregon. Illinois beats Baylor.

National Championship Predictions

All in all, I have predicted 4 Florida State vs 1 Illinois in the big game. Just like many, I predict Illinois as the champs.
